Ferch, a village in the federal state of Brandenburg is directly situated at the lake Schwielowsee and offers a well-developed infrastructure, a lot of restaurants, the museum of local artists, the japanese bonsai garden, boat- and bike rental, a swimming area and the local café right by.

The former fisher‘s village is directly located at the lake Schwielowsee. The houses of the village seem to hide in the woods that sourround it.

Right in the village you can go for extended walks along the lake side. The large pine population and the sourrounding mixed woods seem to be the landscape, where fairy tales were made.

Ferch has been an attraction for artists already before WWII and is it still today. They settled down close to the village and let the landscape inspire them.

The old church which is constructed in half-timbered style rises above the centre of the village. At the church‘s ceiling a wooden angel is located, holding a bowl. Until recently this bowl was filled with water and has just been lowered for a christening.

Very close (about 300m) to your holiday resort you will find the cozy swimming area at the lake site. Because the slope of the shore is very flat, taking a bath is no problem with kids.
